Simply as we state, the Past Starts Now!!! An historical event happened!
An evening to celebrate the opening of the Dublin St. Patrick’s Day weekend was an historic event in many ways!!!! Our Bray Irish sister city friends were welcomed with a lovely get together put on by the amazing Hudson family. On Friday night the gala expanded our Irish roots with the attendance of our friends from the Consulate General of Ireland, San Francisco, Consul General Micheal Smith, and special guest Senator Jerry Buttimer.T.D. Cathaoirleach – (chairperson) (pronounced – Cah-HIR_loch) of the Irish Upper House, or Seanad Éireann.
Congressman Eric Swalwell and former Mayor Tim Sbranti manned the bar to pour delicious INC 82 beer. The room was a buzz all night with the fellowship of all including dancing!
The Dublin City Council lead the festivities with our guests of honor and all were part of the presentations. Mayor Melissa Hernandez mentioned this was the first time we had the head of Ireland in our town and we look forward to more partnerships with Dublin, CA, Bray and Ireland in the future to come!
Our sponsors for the evening included our City of Dublin, Platinum – All Natural Stone and Supervisor David Haubert, Gold -Claudia McCormick, AVI Industries, Stanford Heathcare, Trumark and APAPA (Family Foundation).
