Listed below are just a few of the events that happened over the years in and around Dublin this month.

In 1797, Mission San Jose was completed and dedicated.  The mission had a dire effect on local Native Americans who lived in this area.

In 1851, early settler Jeremiah Fallon bought additional land from Jose Maria Amador in and around the area that would become Dublin.

In 1911, a one room school (and school district) was created.  The Antone School would be built on Tassajara Road near the Alameda/Contra Costa boundary.  A partial replica of it is now located near the corner of Wallis Ranch Road and Stags Leap Lane.

1n 1969, the Parks Job Corps Center closed.

In 1971, Dublin High School graduated its first senior class.[i]

In 1989, a Federal correction center opened.

In 2004, the original Shannon Community Center closed due to environmental issues in the building.
