Listed below are just a few of the events that happened over the years in and around Dublin this month.

1960 – Dublin started to change from a farming community to a suburban area.  The Volk McLain Corporation started constructing San Ramon Village, the first large residential housing development (374 houses) in the area.

1974 – The U.S. Department of Justice opened a Federal correctional institution near Camp Parks.

1988 – The Dublin Senior center opened in the old Fallon School multipurpose room.

2018 – Sean Diamond Park dedicated.
